The Series 2 Mitsubishi Pajero Intercooler kit distributed by Canyon Off-Road is designed for all the owners that want to make increase of torque and power and at the same time those looking for increased reliability, when towing or touring. The kit has been designed to allow a winch to be easily fitted whilst still using the huge SERIES 2 core. HPD has moved the intercooler up higher than the previous first generation kits and changed the piping to run through the radiator support panel. This has allowed the piping to be shortened and reduce the amount of silicone joins as well as further enhancing response.
Specifically, HPD Air to air intercoolers, lower the temperature of the intake air and increase it's density. This maximises the efficiency of the engine, delivering great power benefits along with fuel efficiency gains in your diesel 4x4.
HPD intercoolers also improve overall reliability in diesel applications by reducing your exhaust gas temperature (EGT). High flowing, low pressure drop intercoolers as used by HPD reduce the intake air to as close to ambient temp as possible, delivering reductions in exhaust gas temp of between 50-100 degrees, helping to protect crucial mechanical components.
