Toyota Prado (2002-2006) 120 Series HPD FRONT Mount Intercooler Kit (SKU: IK-P120-F)

This High Performance Diesel intercooler kit distributed by Canyon Off-Road has been designed to suit the Toyota Prado 120 series (1KZ-TE). This intercooler kit has been designed as the factory intercooler is known to be quite small for its application causing excessive intake temperature’s and EGT's. The other known issue is that the factory intercooler also has issues with leaking where the end tanks are pressed onto the core with a O-ring between the core and tank.

HPD’s front mount intercooler is quite larger than the original providing better surface area for cooling and greater flow for increased torque and performance. In HPD’s Prado front mount intercooler kit comes new aluminium intercooler piping, quality silicon hoses, CNC boss’ for air temp and map sensor, German made hose clamps and laser cut stainless steel mounting brackets.

With HPD’s intercooler kit and the right supporting modification’s this will increase torque and power by more than 30%.

Specifically, HPD Air to air intercoolers, lower the temperature of the intake air and increase it's density. This maximises the efficiency of the engine, delivering great power benefits along with fuel efficiency gains in your diesel 4x4.
HPD intercoolers also improve overall reliability in diesel applications by reducing your exhaust gas temperature (EGT). High flowing, low pressure drop in intercoolers as used by HPD reduce the intake air to as close to ambient temp as possible, delivering reductions in exhaust gas temp of between 50-100 degrees, helping to protect crucial mechanical components.
