Leaf springs are one of the oldest styles of suspension on the market yet they are still popular in commercial vehicles today thanks to their ability to carrying heavy loads.
Designed here is Australia, Tough Dog progressive rate leaf springs feature primary and secondary stage leaves to ensure that the vehicles ride remains uncompromised. As the spring is compressed under load, the heavier second stage is engaged to prevent excessive sag. The production process ensures maximum life, corrosion protection and prevention against sag.
Tough Dog offer up to 3 spring rate options for most applications giving you flexibility to choose the most suitable spring rate for your vehicles setup.

Leaf Springs are supplied with front eye bushes fitted.
We recommend fitting long travel shock absorbers with raised springs.

Constant Load refers to weight that is added to the vehicle and will remain in/on the vehicle at all times. Fixed accessories such as a canopy, steel tray, draw system, fridge, tool boxes, rear bar or spare wheel carrier are considered Constant Load.
It is important to select the most relevant spring rate to achieve the best results for load carrying, ride quality and ride height.
